Father and son – a shared passion for the universe

What could be more fascinating than gazing into the infinite reaches of the universe on a clear night?

We are Marcel and Janik – father and son, united by our shared enthusiasm for astronomy and astrophotography.

With our telescopes and cameras, we embark on a journey to distant galaxies, glowing nebulae and mysterious star clusters. Along the way, we capture light that has often travelled for thousands or even millions of years before reaching our cameras.

Our images are created with great patience and passion, sometimes over many nights. A single image often contains 20, 30 or even more hours of exposure time.

What brings us particular joy is not only the finished image, but also the journey we share in creating it. The excitement of new discoveries, experimenting with the equipment and marvelling at the beauty of the universe connect us across two generations.

With this website, we would like to share our fascination and take you on a journey through the infinite reaches of space.

Because the universe is full of wonders – and discovering them together makes it even more rewarding.
